Scholarship

The Social Mission Alliance is dedicated to ensuring our conference is accessible to all who are passionate about social mission. The Social Mission Alliance Scholarship Program will partially support conference participation costs for awardees and is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors.

Applications are due January 28, 2026, 11:59 PM EST.

Scholarship recipients will be notified by email within two weeks of the application deadline. 

Scholarships will help cover the costs of conference registration and/or hotel room accommodations based on funding availability. Scholarship recipients will be provided details upon notification should they be awarded a scholarship.

SMA Scholar Social Media Ambassadors

Scholarship recipients will be expected to actively participate at the conference. They will serve as Social Media Ambassadors by interacting with the SMA community through social media platform(s) by making at least one social media post per day about their experience at the conference to generate interest and appeal. We also ask that each scholarship recipient be prepared to write a brief written reflection of their experience at the conference. See the application for more details.
